New Window is a script that can open a new window and it has parameters for naming the window, specifying its dimensions and it's locations.
After you open a new window, it has the focus and you can use go to layout to select a layout for it and you can perform a find to pull up the records you want to use in the chart.
If these are records in a related table, you can also use Go To Related record to open a new window with a specified layout to display the related records--so that method can combine what would be several script steps into just one if you have a relationship that allows this step to work for you.
Okay Go To related record work but it brings up all my records. I would like it to just bring up the contract that is being viewed
You'll need a different relationship to use with the GTRR step or you'll need to not use GTRR.
Assuming you have a serial number field, __pk_ID to uniquely identify your record, use this relationship for your GTRR step:
YourTable::__pk_ID = YourTable 2::__Pk_ID
Then, in your GTRR step, you specify YourTable 2 as the table.
How do you specify all of that using the GTRR? Do you have to use another command?
You have to create the relationship in Manage | Database | Relationships, then you just refer to the table occurrence name (Table 2 in my example) as the "table" in your GTRR step.
