Show/HIde Tool bar does not hide the top menus in any version of FileMaker. It hides the items in the status tool bar immediately below those menus. Removing all the FileMaker menus would require operating in Kiosk mode and I don't know if that works with Web Direct.
The Show/Hide Toolbars script step will only hide the toolbars, not the menubar. However, you’re in luck: FileMaker 13 also includes a new script step, Show/Hide Menubar. You’ll find it right above Show/Hide Toolbars in the Window section of the Edit Script dialog.
Following this thread. I am hiding tool bars but showing menu bar (I want them to have access to a couple of scripts). However .... Is there a way that the toolbar can be invisible from the very beginning?
Currently it appears for about 5 seconds before the page loads - when it then disappears.
It's a bit irritating and makes it all appear a lot less seamless than one would hope.
