If you mean that you want all 15 one row portals to be horizontally centered even when the window is resized to different widths....
Enter layout mode
Select each of the portals and remove the left and top auto-size anchors--leaving them with no selected anchors.
That doesn't seem to work!
I probably haven't explained myself properly
Not all the 15 row portals are visible most of the time.
If only one is visible I want it in the middle of the layout
if two are visible then I want them as a group in the middle.
so no matter how many are visible I want them as a group in the middle
That's not something that you can easily do. You could set up 15 layouts--each with a different number of horizontal portals and a script uses the number of related records to select the appropriate layout.
Or if these are filtered portals, you might manipulate the filters so that when less than 15 related records exist, the portals that show records are those near the center.
Neither are exactly simple solutions for what you want.
I am going to put the portals in groups ie 1+2 1+2+3 1+2+3+4 stack them on top of each other and then use the hide calculation based on the number of records!
I have been trying to build a Calculation but cant seem to be able to find a Get Function to return the number of records
I am getting a total count of all records in the table at the moment. What am I missing?
I had the wrong table selected for my FountCount
You would not use get (Foundcount). If these are unfiltered portals, use the count function to count the number of related records.
