How can I create a window with no toolbar?

      Post

How can I create a window that has no toolbar aside from the standard 3 dot icons for close, hide, and expand?

I have a script that opens up a window to create/edit records in a portal but it opens with the full toolbar but I don't want it to.

           Thanks for your assistance.

Basic approach to using the new window script step:

Use New Window to open the window

Use other "window" script steps to configure the window if needed

Use Go to layout to select the desired layout for the window

               and so forth...

Show/Hide Toolbars  is a "window" script step that can be used to hide the toolbar once the window has been opened.

Scroll bars and the controls in the bottom left corner of the window, however, cannot be removed from the window.

                 Thanks for that.

I had to work through that on my own a bit but I worked it out.

I quite like your approach where you point me in the right direction but not tell me how to do it. It helps me understand FileMaker Pro better.

                 Thanks.
