Are you inserting full size images into the container ?
If so, why not create a second layout, with the container set to anchor to all edges, so it resizes to the full size of the window, then include a close button.
You can then just add a button to go to that new layout for an enlarged view, or go to related records using that layout if the images are stored in another table.
Yes, I'm inserting full-size images into the container. Since I'm just getting started with FMP, I have no clue how to go about doing what you're suggesting. I get the concept; add a button on the primary layout's image container(s) that links to a separate layout that is just the full-size image. Problem is, when I double-click on the image container in the primary layout I have no idea where to go or what to do to make this happen. Any guidance, or maybe a link to a tutorial or other forum post explaining this process would help tremendously!
Ok SWS, I figured it out. I set up a separate button beneath the photo to open the newly created layout, and added a button on the new layout to "go to previous layout" (I have more than one layout that will use this function).
Thanks for the help! I really appreciate it!
Happy to hear your figured it out, sorry I didn't get back with the way to do it.
Is there a tutorial that explains this?? I have a very similar situation in that I am also trying to figure out how to open full size images. I've inserted my photos into container fields and wish to click on the thumbnail size to open a full size image. I am using a PC and it is not connected to any networks. Any tutorial or step by step instructions would be helpful.
