Two ways of doing this:
1. Simplest - in File | File Options | Open/Close, select the Layout you want to load first - see screenshot
2. Set up a simple - or more complex - script, including Go To Layout and a Go To Record to set to first record, depending on your needs, and in the same dialog box, set that script to load first
This helps some but the screens are all different and in the scripted I cant find “Go to recorded”.
I am using FileMaker Pro 12 advanced.
Perhaps it should go here:
Yes. In FileMaker 12 the radio button in Symbister's example has been replaced by the "OnFirstWindowOpen" trigger.
Thanks Phil - Got it working.
I just now can't fine "Go To first record “ or “Go To record 1” in the scrapes
Is it called something ells?
I’m really new to this so thanks for the help.
Those would be steps that you put in a script performed by this script trigger.
Thanks.. I do understand that.
I just can't fine "Go To first record “ or “Go To record 1” in the scrapes selections..
It's go to record/request/page
You'll then select the first record as an option for the script step.
That was dumb on my part.
Thanks Phil for all the assistance.
