I would think an OnRecordLoad script trigger that advances a counter in the record would be sufficient.
Im not Understanding .. Where and how would I use this command?.. I have a list of Business in my database ..when I click on a business I want to record it ..So I can let the business know how many time thier info has been viewed by others?
If you add a number field to your table called view_counter.
On the particular layout that shows your detail view. You can attach the following script to the OnRecordLoad script trigger.(look up script triggers in the help if you are still not understanding)
Set Field[table::viewcounter; table::viewcounter + 1]
Each time this record gets accessed from this layout the view counter field will get advanced by 1.
Not sure if this script trigger fires in IWP but if you have a button that takes you to the related record you can make it a script and add the above step to the script and it will work equally as well.
