Does it work if you manually perform the find? It would help to see the script but: when using only the step Perform Find [ Restore ], don't wrap your text in quotes. That should be clearly indicated in the Find Request box next to the words 'Criteria' and/or even explained in FM Help but no, FM Help only says, "Type your search criteriafor the selected field in the Criteria area."
If that is your issue, you're not alone; it trips up many people who add the quotes. :smileywink:
UPDATE: I don't understand this part, "However, when I run the script, only the first script works or neither of them works."
Thank you very much! I tried manually and it worked. But when I tried script, it worked with only one request at a time. But it didnt work if I input two requests at the same time. I tried without the quote, and "=" sign, the results remained the same. Any suggestions? Thanks!
You might want to script it this way as it's easier to read:
Enter Find Mode
Set field [Yourtable::Status ; "Current"]
Set Field [YourTable:: Program Type ; "J1"]
If that script doesn't work, tells how it failed for you and we'll take a closer look.
Terrific! That works. Thanks so much!
