Press TAB key to go to next field in the TAB sequence is one thing.
Having a Tabbed Layout with five Tabs and navigating from Tab A to Tab B is another.
How do I use the inspector to format objects in layout mode? Updated: Sep 22, 2011
How do I navigate between tab controls using Scripts? Updated: Jan 31, 2012
Sorry I wasn't clear, I am not talking about the Tab Control.
Rather I was asking about what looks like Tab Stops you set for a control within the inspector:
The three tabs stops you see here are for a single text field on the form. My question is....how do you use these tabs? If I click Tab, I go to the next form control, not to a tab stop within the text field.
See the screen shot below.
From memory to 'tab' inside a field you use shift-tab, or control-tab, I think.
Nope, neither of those works for me.
option (or alt) tab works within a text field on MacOS.
Turns out I had "Witch" (the Windows-like window switcher) installed on the CMD+TAB keyboard combination, which explains why it wasn't working.
Thanks very much.
