How do you update the design and not lose your data?
I am about to embark on the development of a solution (using Filemaker Pro 12) that will be used in different offices and a few users in each office.
At present the idea is that a PC would be set up as the host in each office each user requiring access to the DB would have a FM12 licence.
First of all is this a good idea?
Now the big question..obviously there will be design changes/additions etc... how does one update the design but not lose the existing data?
Any advice would be appreciated.
