How to automatically erase content of field
I am using a table that has a number field where I manually key in, at the end of each month, the value of a security held in an investment account. The table also has a date field where I enter the date of sale of the security when I sell it. Now, when I sell the security, I no longer need the value of the security in the number field, and I'd like the number field to clear automatically when I enter the date of sale in the date field. I spent hours trying to find a way to do this, but to no avail. I will greatly appreciate any help I can get.
