Most layout objects can be resized. This includes field and tab controls. Enter layout mode, click the object to select it, then user your mouse to "drag" one of the small black boxes that appear at the corners of a selected object.
Thanks, but how would I take something like the contact management template, and make it my own by adding the music, so we can listen to different artists? Is this something that I can do easliey, like add, CALL BACK and set a date to remind me, NOTES, WHO I SPOKE TO, Name, Title.
Is there a place perhaps where someone made one and people share databases?
It's fairly easy to add fields to existing tables in FileMaker and then place them on a layout. More challenging is to figure out which table to put them in or if you need to define a completely new table or related records for what you want. (In contact management, the Notes field is kept in a related table so that you can record multiple notes for a given contact.
I doubt that you would find doing what you want to be a simple thing to do. I suspect that you have limited experience designing databases. If so, you'd need to invest some time in learning how FileMaker databases work from tutorials and/or books on the subject.
