Make labels from Calculation fields. I do this on somethings so as fields are completed the data changes labels on subsequent fields, thereby improving the needs of the data.

[SNIP OF LAYOUT - LAYOUT VIEW] The red is noting the actual field, the "" surround regular labels. Red is information that will vary on data entry.
"INVENTORY_SIZE" INVENTORY SIZE
[SNIP OF LAYOUT - BROWSE VIEW] DATA IS" CASE, BOX, AND 12. In Browse View you would not see the "" around text. Using Blue to show record values
NUMBER OF BOX PER CASE 12
