How to get all the values form one field in found set of records?
I may have a brain freeze or something, but I cannot think of an easy way to do the following:
I have a found set of records (which can vary), and I need a way to collect all the values (as carriage return list) from one filed from each record for the whole found set.
For related records, I can use LIST command, but these are not possible to relate, unless I make a dummy table to relate them all on a fly.
For example, all are invoice items from different orders, and I need to pick up all the serial #s in one variable. I cannot use the orders to show me the invoice items, since they have other items that should not be part of the found set. I am making the found set in the invoice items for specific product, that comes from different orders.
Do you have any suggestion beside looping through the records and building a variable?
