philmodjunk Mar 30, 2012 9:53 AM (in response to wisdomz)On paper, how would you compute that average from the data in your table? Should the second row of your report show an average of 12.36? (61.8 divided by 5)
How do you compute the monthly totals?
Does each row of number represent one record or a group of records?

philmodjunk Mar 31, 2012 9:32 PM (in response to wisdomz)If I read that last info correctly, each row of numbers represents a group of records and you are using a sub summary part "when sorted by ShipMonth" to produce the values shown.
To repeat a question: On paper, how would you compute that average from the data in your table? Should the second row of your report show an average of 12.36? (61.8 divided by 5)
I need to know if that's the average you need to compute here.

wisdomz Apr 4, 2012 6:31 AM (in response to wisdomz)Hi, Phil
To repeat a question: On paper, how would you compute that average from the data in your table? Should the second row of your report show an average of 12.36? (61.8 divided by 5)
Yes, you are right. I need the 61.8/5 =12.36 show .
now, I have another solution to fix the issue. I use the
Product_ASP is calculated filed.
Let ([
productqty= GetSummary ( POS Qty. Total ;Shipmonth );
productSO=GetSummary ( POS Amnt. _USD_ Total;Shipmonth)
];productSO/productqty
)it is okay to work. but , I did not know if you have better solution.
thank you
Wisdom

philmodjunk Apr 4, 2012 11:31 AM (in response to wisdomz)I think I'd be using the same calculation you have. GetSummary is intended to access subtotals exactly like you are using it here.
