Title

How to ignore a missing file when using "Insert File"

Post

How do ignore an error when the file I'm trying to insert does not exist.  In my case, the file may or may not exist.

I've tried this:

Insert File [Music Library::Play_Recording; "$combine"]

If [Get (LastError) <> 0}

    Show Custom Dialog ["Message"; "Record Not Found"]

     End If

However when the file does not exist, the error is caught during the "Insert File" prior to the error checking.

I'm using Mac FileMaker Pro 11.0v2
