How to set FMP to recognize one selection among many..?
I can set FMP in an IF statement to branch to the proper loop if the user makes one specific choice out of fifteen in a checkbox field...
BUT if the user makes the specific choice AND others in addition, it won't branch properly.
Example: If the user chooses air conditioning as his sole option from a list of fifteen, then FMP goes to the air conditioning extended warranty page... BUT if the user chooses air conditioning and leather seats and automatic transmission, it ignores the branch.
I want it to go the air conditioner extended warranty page WHENEVER he chooses air conditioning, whether that's his only choice or he chooses ten other options. If he does NOT choose air conditioning, THEN I want it to ignore the branch--even if he chooses other options...
Thanks for any help!
The FilterValues function can help you check to see if a specific box was checked. (Selected values from a checkbox group formatted field are stored in a list separated by carriage returns.)
If ( Not IsEmpty ( FilterValues ( YourTable::CheckboxField ; "air conditioning" ) ) ;
"air conditioning was selected" ;
"air conditioning was not selected )
