How to VIEW "unique field entries"

Post

There is a function (or a trick, since I can't find it) to VIEW the different entries in a field.

Example:  You have 180,000 records.  One of the fields should have ONLY "yes" or "no" in it.

There is a way to VIEW ONLY the unique entries that occur in that field.  For the example above, this would show you a list of 2 (yes, no) across the entire 180,000 records.  If 500 of the fields by error, had "maybe" in them, it would show you a list of 3 items, (yes, maybe, no).

Can anyone remind me what this function is called and how to get to it?
