We use FileMaker to keep track of writing courses on campus. The following information is used for each:

           Name of Faculty Member:
           Course Name:
           Course Number:
           Semester:
           Year:
           Approval Status:

We are trying to have a list, which I think should be able to be produced with the find function, that shows us which couses were approved in the following semester (e.g., Spring 2012) but NOT the semester after (e.g., Spring 2013). This will give us a list of "stragglers" so we might contact them to update their application.

There must be SOME way of doing this, rather than reviewing each by hand. Does anyone have ANY ideas as to how to make this process more efficient?
