Title

If the result is a negative  number  change  result to  zero

Post

The  case statement below yields the result I need with one exception and that is; if the result is a negative number I would want to put  a zero in the commission name 8 field I can't seem to make that happen. The reason I need a zero is if we lose $$ on a job then the commission to be paid is showing as a negative and ofcourse you don't pay a -$ amount so zero should be the answer. Also this would  apply to and order that has only one job associated with it. If there are multiple jobs on one order than the negative number gets combined with all the jobs on the order and the result should never be less than zero however if that were to happen I then would need to make that - number be zero also.

Is this possible? or am I not approaching this in the right way. Whatever help you can offer is greatly appreciated.

Commission name 8 =

Case (
Commsion Name 9 < 1 ; 0;
Sales code manual = "P"; Commisionable Value * .0075;
Sales code manual = "E"; Commisionable Value * .0075;
Sales code manual = "M"; Indvidual job profit 2 * .025;
Sales code manual = "F"; 0;
)

Using FMP 11A /server 8

Thanks again
