Normally, to import data from excel, you would select Import Records from the File Menu and use this option to import your data from Excel into a table in FileMaker.
I have done that. But in the excel data there are about 8 fields that I need to import into 1 drop down list field on FileMaker pro
Does that mean you have a table in FileMaker with 8 fields into which you have already imported this data? and you want the data from all 8 fields to be listed in the value list of your drop down list field?
You could import this data over again and this time import it 8 times, each time mapping a different column of Excel data to the same field in your FileMaker table so that all of this data appears in a single field in the FileMaker table.
