      I'm Trying to import a series of records directly from the web.

      My current Script is

           Import Records - URL = "http://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=ADM+APPL&f=l";

      I have found how to import this into other programs directly, but it is very cumbersom to import it into another program save it, and then import it into filemaker.

      So, Does anyone know the syntax within import records for URLS, so it is imported not from the hard drive, but the internet?

      I though it would be somehting like:

      Filewin:http://finance.yahoo.com/d/quotes.csv?s=ADM+APPL&f=l

      but It does not seem to work. I'm running both mac and PC's.

          A URL is not the same as a FilePath which is why the method you tried failed. I believe you'll need to download the file to your hard drive and then import it to get it into filemaker. If you can construct a URL that will download automatically, you can probably get the Open URL step to do this for you and then you just need to script the import records from there.
