Set FIeld [YourTable::YourField ; GetValue ( YourTable::YourTextField ; Specify the line here ) ]
You could also set up the individual fields with auto-enter calculations that use getValue to enter specific lines of text from that field.
Seems simple then! I elected to try a 'GetValue(T::field;2)' in the textfield wanting the 2nd line. However, it stays blank even when I exit/commit the T::field.
I assume the full code you wrote above would be a script with the 'Set Field etc' line for each field need a line of text and that the script would be triggered by modifying the 'Email input' field?
It should work the first time you paste into the "parent" field, or if you modify that field. It will not happen if you just click into the parent field, then go out again. It requires more than that to make anything happen. Try again, with some change to the parent field.
If you uncheck the default [x] Do not replace existing value of field, then the "line" fields will be reset whenever you modify the "parent" field afterwards; otherwise it happens only the 1st time.
Managed to sort it!
