      Inactive Tab Colors

      Post

           Hello,

I'm trying to solveTab Buttons (Graphics question) problem.  I use conditional formatting to identify those tabs which have activity by change the background and text colors.  However, when moving to another tab, the inactive tab - unlike the default color scheme - retains the colors that were set with the conditional formatting parameters.  I noticed that there is a OnTabSwitch script trigger option and was hoping to try using that see if I could attack this problem.  However, I have not been able to find that trigger option in any of the usual places and was wondering (a) if there are other places that I should look [the online documentation wasn't any help on this point] or (b) whether I'm barking up the wrong tree?

Thanks very much for your advice,

           Bill Cole

               Enter layout mode.

               Right click the tab control

               Select Set Script Triggers...

In FileMaker 13, the trigger was renamed as OnPanelSwitch and it's the last trigger listed in this dialog box.

It was renamed, because the same trigger can be tripped in a slider by changing slider panels.
