I use PDF files or copied portions of PDF documents to form the basis of various layouts . . . Mostly contract forms. Although I'm not denying you are having a problem, I must say I haven't. Printouts from these layouts are crisp and clean and without resolution issues. In my experience FileMaker does not degrade the resolution of PDF documents. Keep in mind I'm not dealing with PDF files in a container field. That I can't vouch for . . . I just don't know because I never use this method. RW
Does the PDF include a graphic object? Is the PDF inserted into a container field?
I do have an acknowledged bug report of such an issue in my bugs database--so that may explain this issue here. If not, please describe the limitations you have encountered in more detail either here or in Report an Issue so that this can be brought to the attention of FileMaker Inc.
