You can make an unstored calculation field set to Get(CurrentDate) and put that field on your layout. In layout mode you can then adjust the format to what you desire.
You can also simply select the text object that contains your // and specify a date format in the Inspector (FMP 11). You can probably use Format Date to do this in older versions.
Could not get the date formated properly...with the calculation Get(CurrentDate) got SAT 0,00
Worked great but could not change the setting if it is in a text box.

Hmmm....I can't believe I never tried that! I just always assumed you couldn't do it on a text box.
Learned a simple something new!
In filemaker 11,
Select the text object by clicking it while in layout mode. (the text object must contain // or a merge field of type date.)
On the inspector palette, Click the Data tab
Down at the bottom is a section labeled : Data Formatting.
Click on the Date Icon (looks like a small calendar) and select a format from the drop down.
In Filemaker 10 and earlier:
Select the text object and choose Date... from the format menu. (Same limitation, there has to be a date type merge field or // in the text object.)
