Title

Inserting network file path (hyperlink) in email message

Post

     Hello,

I'm trying to insert a link to a shared file (such as fmp7://my_server_address/Notifications) in an email message (using FMP 11).

Messages received (Outlook 2003) are plain text, whereas I'd like to have clickable links.

Local file paths (such as <\\my_local_file_dir\Notifications.fp7>) are clickable links in the messages I receive... but I can't use this approach for shared files.

Paths are correct (manual hyperlink insertion in Outllok works, same goes for Windows shortcut creation).

     Am I missing something?
