Title

Installer refusing to install the actual FMPA application

Post

We have two licenses for FMPA 11. I installed a copy on a user's machine, but inadvertently entered my own serial, so of course that caused a network conflict when he launched it.

Rather than take up any more time on his computer, I thought I'd just delete my copy and reinstall with the unused serial. I deleted the Filemaker folder from the Applications folder (I'm using Mac OS X 10.6.8) and the FM prefs file, and ran the FMPA 11 installer.

When it finished, there were only the "Extensions" and "Web" directories in Applications/FileMaker Pro 11 Advanced. No application. I launched the installer again, clicked "Customize," and saw that the "Application" checkbox was unchecked & greyed out. I couldn't check it.

Anybody ever seen (and hopefully solved) that issue before?
