Installing FileMaker Pro 8.5 on Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6.8
Hi, I've been trying to install FileMaker Pro 8.5 to our new computers (Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard).
After initial install, the following message pops up saying "FileMaker Pro quit unexpectedly" and could not work with the program. Upon searching this forum, I found a potential solution, which is to update our FileMaker Pro 8.5 v1 to FileMaker Pro 8.5 v2 (link). However, when I finished updating FileMaker Pro 8.5 v2, the following message pops up "error creating folder 1008:9,-5000 access denied error" and now it says FileMaker Pro 8.5 is installed incorrectly and can't even open it.
I know this is an old software but we've been very used to it and want to keep using it.
