Title

installing filemaker pro advanced 9 on Windows XP fails

Post

I have Filemaker Pro Advanced 9 for Windows, and Im trying to install it on a machine with Windows XP Professional version 2002, with Service Pack 3 installed.

According to the Filemaker systems requirements page I need:

Windows XP Professional, Home Edition (Service Pack 2) *

  • Pentium III 500MHz or higher
  • 256MB of RAM
  • CD-ROM drive and hard disk drive
  • SVGA (800 x 600) or higher resolution video adapter and display

I am the administrator, so I asume that when I try to install it, I'm installing it as an administrator.

Does anyone know why this isn't working and what I can do to make it work?
