interpretation of the isempty function
I started using isempty and had some confusing results may be because my expectation is different.
Answering these questions will clarify the issue:
1.If a text field in the table has not received an entry - that is empty, correct.
2.if a text field in a table contains a space " " , is that empty?
3.if a numeric field in a table has not received an entry - empty?
4. If a numeric field in a table has a zero, is that empty?
5. if a memory variable = " " , is that empty?
6. if a memory variable ="" is it empty.
7.If a memory variable is undefined (perhaps a local from another script) is that empty or testing it generates an error.
8. If a related table has no record related to that in the main table, will a test for isempty of any field in the related table reveal that?
