Is there a column limit for importing from Excel?

I am very new to FileMaker so I'm trying to learn as I go.  I am trying to start a new database by importing from a current Excel file using the first row as field names. The Excel file that I'm importing from has a little over 100 columns and is about 4,000 rows. When I try the import everything los fine except that it cuts off after the 85 column. If I delete some columns out of the middle it will import the remaining columns fine so I don't think it's a problem with formatting or something not being recognized.  Right now I'm working with sample data until I'm a little more confident, but when I import all of my data it will be around 70,000 rows but the same number of columns.

Does anyone have any ideas here?

Thank you,
