Is there a way to sort a report based on a different field after it is run?

I have a report that was created using the builtin report layout functions of FMP, using different Part Tools and summary calculations . The report sums up all trips taken by customers and totals them up so that we see only the total trips and total cost amounts per customer. In order for this report to work, I have to sort the records by customer name. This all works fine.

      I am doing a Sub-summery when sorted by Customer::NameFull

then doing a Trailing Grand Summary by

But my client would then like the report to actually sort differently and show the totals based on the dollar amount, sorting from highest to lowest for example.

So for example the report right now looks like this:

      Customer Name    Trips    Amount

      ----------------------    -------   -----------

      A                               5         $120

      B                               10       $240

      C                                6        $150

      TOTALS                   21        $510

And we would like to to be rearranged as such:

      Customer Name    Trips    Amount

      ----------------------    -------   -----------

      B                               10       $240

      C                                6        $150

      A                                5         $120

      TOTALS                   21        $510

I can't think of a way to re-sort this report based on the sub-summary amounts. And BTW exporting to Excel does not work. When I do that all I get is just the grand total of the report repeated as many times as there are records in the report!??

      Thank you.
