I am successfully hosting a database with instant web publishing and want to have a "backup" in case the hosting machine goes down. As a back-up I would like to have my laptop serve as a temporary hosting machine. I am using a static IP and port 591. Is this possible?

I have not been successful in getting this to work. I know the program is set-up properly on the laptop since IWP works via the local network. I just cannot access it over the internet with the static IP. It occurred to me that the second instance of the Filemaker program, installed on the second machine, the laptop, may not allow the hosting?

Please advise. All of the other non-Filemaker settings also match. Filemaker is listed as an allowable program through the firewall for example.
