jpg photos turning dark - HELP ASAP
So we have created a submission database where we insert jpg photos into the database. We then take all those photos and submission pages and turn them into pdf forms and email them to our clients.
However we have recently been finding SOME of the photos have been turning dark while the other photos are fine.
We need to find out what is causing this and how we can fix it. Some of the jpgs have a background and some dont, however we have changed the background colors, and even submitted them without the background and they will still turn dark.
We work on Filemaker Pro.
Color Management can be complex.
What OS is used?
What photo editor is used?
What color space is used? (RGB, sRGB, other)?
Some applications are color aware, meaning they will use the defined color space for display.
Some applications are not color aware and ignore the color profile.
