    Layout Loading

      Layout Loading

I am running FM 10 Advanced on OSX 10.6

I have an application that always loads the last layout when it is restarted.

My startup script performs a logical evaluation and then goes to the correct layout; which usually is not the one that is loaded.  The script works but I can see the 'unneeded' layout flash across the screen before I go to the desired layout.

*I have put the system into debug and opened the application.  BEFORE THE FIRST LINE OF CODE IS EXECUTED, THE LAST LAYOUT IS LOADED.    (There is no layout specified in the FILES section).

Is this just a FM characteristic or have I done something (I don't know what) to turn on that 'feature'????

Specify a startup layout in the File options. You could make this a blank layout or a splash screen, company logo or whatever. It will be there shortly. The last layout will not show any more.

          Success, Henk
