Below is a screen shot of the INCORRECT Company Layout (where ALL fields are being activated when ANY field is selected for entry/edit):
NOTICE: The blue field (which is obviously a duplicate field; I was trying different settings) is the one being edited YET all fields become active and I lose the white naming fields (with the proper conditional formatting).
[I realize I have all the fields filled in for this example, but even when they are empty, I still see all the available fields activated with the dotted lines and my instruction text boxes are not visible until I click out of the active field.]
The title fields that you see in the People Layout are text fields that have a conditional formatting on them to turn the instruction text white when the appropriate related field has data in it.
In FM11 in Layout Setup you can tick to show field frames when record is active. Is one set to show, and the other not?
