Layout Table View
in table view mode can I put a button o, records or a script that can be executed when i click on certain record?
You cannot put buttons in the body of a table view. You can with list view and a list view can be set up to look just like table view, but with fixed columns.
You can set an onObjectEnter script trigger on a field in the table's row such that clicking it performs a script, though this will also be triggered if you tab into the field.
how can i change the cursor to hand on mouse over the record in a table view
You can't in table view. Hand cursor only works for buttons, but you can use a tool tip such as "click her to...". Sure you don't want to use List view?
also, i don't want to let the user click on add to add a field, how can i block this
use List view instead of table view.
Or you can set up access permissions that prohibit this. (Only full access users should be able to click on the + button to add a new field definition.)
yes it's better, thanks
in order to open the related record how can i get the current field where the user click
an i change the cursor to hand on mouse over the record in a list view?
With list view, you can use a button or set up the field as a button and then you get the hand cursor.
Describe what you want in a bit more detail. The mouse click makes the row in your list or table view the current record and then the script can reference any data in the fields of that record or you can use Go To Related Record to go to a related set of records if you have defined a relationship to support that move.
ok thanks, it works
can i resize the layout width/height in browse mode?
Not sure what you want. Columns cannot be resized in browse--that's a key difference between list and table views.
The entire window--like any other FileMaker window--can be resized.
