Hello, Does a Filemaker license issued for version 12 cover use of previous versions of Filemaker?
I'm not a Lawyer, but I recall no language in the End User License Agreement that would permit use of previous versions under that EULA.
What Phil said. But developers commonly keep all versions of FileMaker on their machines, or at least the versions that will run under a current OS. This allows them to test solutions in different FM environments. Some very good developers could have a client with dozens of FM 11 installations that they aren't prepared to upgrade. for them it makes sense to have a version 11 around so they don't develop beyond the capabilities of FM 11 for that particular client.
No - there are different licence codes as well. You can run as many versions of FileMaker on Your system as You like - but with individual licences
Yes Markus. My post assumed that each version had been purchased of course.
