I was reading Introduction to External SQL Sources.pdf which is downloaded from http://help.filemaker.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/6566/kw/external%20sql%20source.
On page 30, the provided link http://podgoretsky.com/ftp/Docs/DB/SQL%20in%2021%20Days/fm/fm.htm does not seem to work.
I recommend using the Report an Issue tab at the top of this screen to report this problem. TS Personnel regularly monitor that part of this forum (Over here we are largely "self help") and thus will see your report and contact the needed persons in order to fix the link.
