I am on a PC running XP Home with service pack 3. I try to log in but it kicks up the error:
"Filemaker is unable to access the DB. Make sure you are connected to the internet"
I am absolutely connected to the internet - I can surf and connect to my email. I've tried with firewalls down and virus protection turned off.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get around this error?
What steps are you taking to attempt access to the database?
From a web browser?
From Filemaker after selecting open remote?
At what point in the log in process do you get this message?
What version of filemaker are you using?
