Freeze window will terminate the script in IWP. But, if you run this script as written with the freeze window step removed or disabled, in IWP it will run as though you had a freeze window in place. If you want to run the script with both web and fileMaker clients, you can put the Freeze window step inside an if step that only allows the freeze window to execute if the client is not a web user.
Excellent. That will solve the problem.
I was reading on this forum that the Freeze Window might not even be needed for later versions of FMP. I guess I will have to try it to see.
Do you know of another way to manipulate multiple tables without switching layouts?
It can be done by interacting with a portal to the second table , but I don't recommend that approach.
If it's a one to one relationship you can modify values and create related records from a single layout.
