Merging two identical databases with all sources, tables, etc.

Post

I am using Filemaker Pro 11.  I had moved my client's database to a NAS and they had accidentally entered new records into their old copy of the database.  I am wondering how I can open the copy on the NAS and then tell it to merge in everything from the copy they are working off by mistake.  I am a bit confused by the process.  When I select file->import records->file and then select the all available and then the fp7 file, and then open, it gives me a new window wanting me to select a source and target, etc.  Do i need to keep importing for each source that is listed?  I know there will be the same data in there and they will also have some changed data if that helps.  I am hoping they do not have to key in by hand everything.  The first copy is dated 09-23-2013 and the second copy is 10-02-2013.
