Missing data importing from Filemaker Pro 10 into Excel 2008 on Mac OSX

      Post

      Hi,

I am having some difficulty importing data from a FilemakerPro 10 database into Excel for Mac 2008. I am using the ODBC driver provided with FMP10 and have set up a DSN connection to the database I want. From Excel I choose to import from FilemakerPro and then choose the database source. This brings up the option to select the table and required fields. I am importing five fields of txt and numbers from a database of 570K records. I then have selected a filter which reduces this down to 68K records.

Apart from taking around 10 minutes to complete only a small number of transactions are imported and the rest of the rows are blank. When selecting the table in Excel it highlights the correct number of rows (68,785) but only rows 0 - 2001 have any data and the rest are blank.

I am new to FMP so I would be grateful for any help to both speed up the data import and resolve the missing rows of data.

      FMPro 10.0v1

      Mac OSX 10.5.7

      Microsoft Excel 2008 for Mac v 12.1.9

      SequeLink 5.5

      Regards,
