AFAIK, FileMaker Pro 5 does not qualify for an upgrade to FileMaker Pro 9. So even if you could install it on your new Mac, I am not sure that the FileMaker Pro 9 installer would recognise it as a 'previously installed version'. I could be wrong.

I have contacted our Customer Assistance department about this post, and I have been informed that they have emailed your upgrade License Key for FileMaker Pro 7 which you can then use to install your upgrade version of FileMaker Pro 9.
