multiple entries in one field [final result:checkboxes/multiple choice]

      Post

           Good day everyone,
I have this problem which Ive been trying to solve for a while now

(it's my first venture into databases, so it might be a beginner's question..)

I have a field (imported from excel file) where the various entries were listed like this:

           ENTRY1, ENTRY2, ENTRY3

What I'd like to achieve is ENTRY1, ENTRY2 and so on, to be recognized as SEPARATE and that it'd be possible to get them to work in a multiple choice selection via checkboxes.

So far I've been able to substitute commas with this (as suggested in the Italian language forum where I asked): ¶
So now I have it like:

           ENTRY1¶ENTRY2¶ENTRY3

           Nothing changed though!

What can I do? I'd really need some help on this one, as it's getting quite urgent and I have no clue about how to solve it...
So, huge thanks in advance to whoever will consider helping me out :)
