Navigating between records with the keyboard?
This is driving me nuts but hopefully there is an easy solution that would be system wide. Im trying to get an easy way of going to the next/previous record on a form using the keyboard only. Ideally with the arrows or pageup / page down.
The documentation says ctrl plus arrow show do this but the default is this triggers all visible windows to shrink that are open on the mac. I tried using a trigger keystroke for pgup/pgdown, which worked providing the user didn't have a scroll bar - then it worked but also scrolled down even with Exit Script [False]. I tried using a trigger keystroke for the arrows but this would also navigate to the end of a field.
Check your settings in the Finder's System Preferences Keyboard Shortcuts—especially those for Mission Control—as these may conflict with FileMaker's shortcuts. The FileMaker defaults for next and previous records are control down arrow and control up arrow.
