      Need a formula please

      Post

      Hello,

      I have the following formula

      Case ( Instructor = "No cover"; "Area not covered"; Training type = "ManualAutomatic";"Manual & Automatic cars";Training type = "Manual";"Manual cars only")

      But although the first and last requests are returned correctly, the second is not. The training type field had check boxes 'Manual' and 'automatic'. I would like it to return 'Manual & Automatic cars' if both boxes are checked.

      Thank you.

          ValueCount ( Filtervalues (Training type ; list ( "Manual" ; "Automatic" ) ) ) = 2

          A check box group's values are listed in the order the check boxes were clicked, separated by a return.

            Thank you, but I am still a bit confused. I still want the field "Cover" to return "Area not covered" if instructor = No cover or "Manual cars only" if Training type = Manual check box only or "Manual & Automatic cars" if both check boxes are checked, if so, do I need to add your formula to mine while removing the middle bit. If I do this the field returns a number "0" or "1".

            Sorry, I am a newbee and get confused easily....

              I only posted the part you need to change. The case function should look like this:

              Case ( Instructor = "No cover"; "Area not covered";
                         ValueCount ( Filtervalues (Training type ; list ( "Manual" ; "Automatic" ) ) ) = 2;"Manual & Automatic cars";
                         Training type = "Manual";"Manual cars only")
