Something seems off. Why are all your TO names in italics? Are they in a different file from Smartboard?
Such calculations would typically be defined in _Workouts with a summary report used to report summary type info. Such reports can be specific to a given record in Workouts with or without a listing of the specifics in _workouts and can be for one client or multiple clients and can also be for specific date ranges.
On the same lines of what I was trying to do. I have a calculated field in _Workouts it standardizes the weights that were lifted for a specific exercise. What I'd like to do now is create a calculated field in _Workouts that shows the average of the past three occurrences of that exercise. I'm thinking ExecuteSQL () is the right direction for this and using the FETCH FIRST. I'm struggling with making it work. I currently have;
"SELECT AVG OneRepMax
WHERE Workouts.WorkoutID=_Workouts.ID AND _Workouts.ExerciseID = Exercises.ExerciseID"
I feel like I'm missing a part there to link the exercise to the customer. Please help. And use Steve Martino they are externally linked at the moment as I play around with it. Once I implement it I will adjust the tables accordingly.
