Boy. I've never heard any of that stuff. If I did, there would be a fist-shaped hole in my screen. On Windoze I set the system to 'No Sounds', so I hear nothing. Are you saying that little move is making me miss a treat? On Win you can kill the sounds cause-by-cause (Application Start, Critical Alert, etc.)
